How can we help?
Zinc helps fruit plants in healthy leaf growth, enzyme activity, chlorophyll formation, flowering, fruit set, and normal plant development. Although plants need zinc in small amounts, its role in plant health is very important.
Common signs include yellow leaves with green veins, small leaves, short shoots, stunted growth, poor flowering, and weak fruit set. Zinc deficiency is usually more visible on young leaves and new shoots.
The best time to apply zinc is usually during early spring, before flowering, after harvest in some deciduous fruit trees, or when clear deficiency symptoms appear. Timing depends on the crop, climate, product type, and local conditions.
It is better to avoid strong zinc sprays during full flowering unless recommended by a local agriculture expert or product label. Flowers are delicate, and some sprays may damage blooms depending on dose, weather, and product formulation.
